Our design utilizes the seven principles of Universal Design: equitable use, flexibility in use, simple and intuitive use, perceptible information, tolerance for error, low physical effort, and size and space for approach and use.
The ideal home for today and the future is here. Our concept focuses on the house and the high quality of available services in the surrounding community. Whether caring for a family member or planning for the future, self-independence is our focus.
Universally Designed Multi-Generational Housing
9147 Clayton's design inspires architects to design, homebuilders to build, and homeowners to insist upon a Renaissance in living that will accommodate them throughout their lives. This paradigm shift in design allows families across America to enjoy the benefits of multi-generational living.
The project (which began in July 2018) focuses on creating a highly desirable residential solution for all people with an environment which will enhance the quality of life of the aging baby boomer population, people with disabilities, and their families and extend their ability to live independently.
We have collaborated extensively with people with many disabilities, including multiple amputations, traumatic burn injuries, cognitive impairments, and aging Americans. Combining the latest technologies with the elegant universal design, 9147 Clayton is a tangible solution to overcome their real-life challenges and experiences.
